I agree. There are no rules, but don't expect people to keep following you if you suck. I for one can't stand people who post music blips over and over and over again. Once in a while is great, even a couple times a day, but not constantly. But, that's me. Do what you want, just don't be mad when you lose followers.

Best Twitter Rules List EVER. I agree to use common sense and make sure that what you post is reflective of how you want to be perceived, etc., but when I'm annoyed by what people post on Twitter and decide that what they're talking about is of little to no value to me, I unfollow. Like you said, the beauty of Twitter is that you are in control.
